Gingerbread Loaf
I've been really getting into making loaf's recently. There was my Starbucks copycat lemon loaf [recipe already up], I made a orange and chocolate chip loaf that tasted like a giant Jaffa Cake and most recently, a gingerbread loaf.
Sorry for the dirty stove-top picture.... but doesn't it look good?! The loaf, not my stove. I finished the first draft of my dissertation tonight so I thought I'd treat myself to a baking session [although it really doesn't take long, especially with my mixer], and a nice bit of cake.
This loaf is to moist and sweet and flavourful and spicy with all that ginger and cinnamon in it. It is just so delicious and it goes great with a nice cup of tea!
